"Animals are the voiceless and the innocent and they need to be treated with the respect and care they deserve."
– Katherine Heigl
Badlands Ranch® was created to help as many dogs as possible live a healthy, happy life, which is why we’re so proud of our partnership with the Jason Heigl Foundation.
In 2008, Katherine and her mother, Nancy Heigl, established the Jason Heigl Foundation, driven by a shared mission to end animal cruelty and abuse. The foundation, committed to animal welfare, honors the compassionate spirit and memory of their beloved son and brother, Jason.
Jason’s life was marked by his love for all animals, including dogs, cats, and monkeys, embodying kindness toward every creature, regardless of size.
This Foundation stands as his lasting legacy.
The Jason Heigl Foundation works tirelessly to protect dogs from cruelty, provide them with the medical care they desperately need, and move vulnerable dogs from high-kill shelters to safe, loving homes.
Since the start of our sponsorship in 2022…
Badlands Ranch® has contributed over $1,000,000 to support the Jason Heigl Foundation.
