Young woman feeding a white dog a treat

Puppy-dog eyes are HARD to resist.

Especially when they’re at the table… begging for your food!

If you’ve ever wanted to share your dessert with your pup — and found it almost too hard to resist…

Check out this PERFECT, totally dog-friendly recipe you won’t feel guilty about giving your pup:

Puppy Pumpkin Ice Cream!

(Bonus: Not only will your pup LOVE it — but it’ll keep them busy for a WHILE… So it’s perfect for when your pup needs quiet time or a good wind-down activity.)

Just follow these steps to make this simple, 4-ingredient treat:

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups plain, unsweetened yogurt*
  • 1 cup pumpkin purée*
  • 2 bananas
  • 2 scoops of Super20

*Make sure none of the ingredients contain any additives, like salt, sugar, or sweeteners, as these can be harmful to your dog.

If you’ve got a dog who doesn’t do well with dairy, coconut yogurt works perfectly well in this recipe and is safe for dogs.

Ingredients:

  1. In a blender or food processor, combine all the ingredients and blend until smooth.
  2. Pour mixture into an ice cube tray or individual ½-cup serving containers. (Plastic is the safest choice, as glass can break.)
  3. Freeze until solid (about 3 hours), then serve to your dog.

And voila! Now you’ve got a creamy, frozen treat your dog will love…

Because it’s not just delicious — it’s also GREAT for your dog’s well-being.

1. It’s Easy on your Pup’s Stomach*

Pumpkin is a fantastic source of fiber — while yogurt is full of probiotics… Both of which are great for a happy, feel-good tummy.

2. It’s PACKED with Superfoods to Help your Pup Thrive*

Thanks to the powerful blend of ingredients in Super20… Your pup can enjoy the same wholesome, nourishing superfoods they’d crave in the wild… With a slightly savory scent and taste they’ll love!

3. It’s a Great Enrichment Tool

Your dog can lick, chew, chomp on these treats for a while — which keeps them focused, occupied, and is a great mental exercise. You can make things even more fun by putting this “ice cream” inside a washable puzzle toy, so your pup has to work hard to get the treat.

Of course, with any treat, it’s important to be mindful of the serving size…

So it’s important to note: Don’t feed more than ½ cup at a time for big dogs, and just 1-2 ice cubes for small dogs, to avoid an upset stomach.

(Don’t worry about the leftovers, though — this tasty ice cream can be kept in the freezer for up to 6 months!)

This ice cream recipe is a fantastic way for your pup to enjoy their very own drool-worthy dessert.

If your dog gets a taste of this fun and frozen treat — pop in on Instagram or Facebook and share a photo of them enjoying their puppy pumpkin ice cream!

*All dogs are unique. Your dog’s results can and will vary.
